This group is about expanding the blog to an interactive community on Facebook.
It’s here! The Facebook group created to bring this blog to life!
Why? To expand beyond the resources the blog provides (lots of detail in my cornerstone post) and have a fully interactive community of people at every stage of “escape.” The goal is to have yet one more avenue for you all working towards the 9-5 escape to access resources.
And as you know by now if you’ve been a reader of FreeAt50, people are one of my most valued resources.

I began this blog after my layoff and knowing I had no interest in going back into corporate life. I wanted out of ill-fitting logo’d shirts and into packing a bag any day of the week to go explore. Out of people putting things onto my calendar for 8pm and into cooking dinner and watching movies with my man. No more Saturdays unless I am in the flow and just want to write.
